PJB began as a basketball organization and basketball will always be at the heart of the organization. PJB has provided the opportunity for over 1000 youth to gain access to the great game of basketball. Today, PJB serves Goma through daily practices, camps & clinics, tournament organization and international tournament opportunities. The basketball team is currently comprised of five coaches, thirteen young “encadreurs” (Coaches in training), and over 35 teams on the five courts, which PJB has built.
